As of January 1st, 2026, the City of Huntington Park – Building & Safety Division will enforce the 2025 California Building Standards Code (California Code of Regulations, Title 24) consisting of the following thirteen Parts:
From this date forward, make sure your plans reflect the new code cycle for plan check submittal to the Building & Safety Division. Incorrect code cycle information will not be accepted. The last date for new plan check submittals under the 2022 California Building Standards Code was December 31st, 2025. Submittals after this date shall comply with the 2025 California Building Standards Code.
Projects submitted to the Building & Safety Division before January 1st, 2026 can follow the older 2022 California Building Standards Code, provided the plan check does not expire. Any projects submitted on or after January 1st, 2026 must comply with the new 2025 California Building Standards Code.
