Housing & Economic Development

The Housing and Economic Development Division work to improve housing and support our community in Huntington Park. Our team offers home repair programs to help residents keep their homes safe, provides homeless outreach to connect people with resources, and manages the Rent Stabilization Program to protect tenants. We also use funding from programs like CDBG, CalHome, PLHA, Measure A, and HOME-ARP to create housing opportunities and strengthen our neighborhoods.

Programs

CalHome Program
These programs improve the aesthetic of the City by future property owners. These programs are possible due to the Community Development Department’s effective management of the City’s grants from the California Department of Housing and Community Development www.hcd.ca.gov. These programs allow the City of Huntington Park to address various housing and community needs.
