Senior Program


The Huntington Park Senior Program offers people over 55 years old a variety of fun and enjoyable activities at the Huntington Park Community Center.

The Senior Program is held at the Huntington Park Community Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Free activities held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Seniors can participate in any of the following activities during program hours: 
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Daily Group Dancing
  • Games
  • Afternoon tea
  • Recipes of the Month
  • Movie showings
  • Workshops
  • Walking Club
  • Knitting Club

All activities are free and you do not have to register to participate.

Recipe of the Month
Participants vote for a recipe and come together to learn how to cook it. At the end of the lesson, participants get to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Trips & Dances

In addition to the free daily activities, the Senior Program offers other fun opportunities to socialize including senior dances and our bimonthly casino day trips. There is a small fee for dances and trips.
